For Strong Feet

The problem is, foot muscles are easily ignored when we think about exercising. But dang it, they are important.

👣 The small intrinsic muscles of your feet play important roles in maintaining your arch. They’re also important in being able to point your foot and raise up to your toes.

Weak arch muscles can contribute to developing issues like plantar fasciitis. And if the muscles of your foot aren’t helping with your heel raise or relevé (talking to you, dancers), the calf gets overworked and calf strains and Achilles issues are more likely to develop.

So let’s do something about it!

Follow along with Dr. Alex for a way to start strengthening your foot and some ideas for making the exercise harder as you get stronger.

Try 2-3 sets of 1 minute on each foot.
